Mountain Safety
Here are a few resources on best practice while walking in the hills. While many of us have a lot of experience, not all have had any formal training or much experience in bad weather, for example. And it's always useful to have checklists, especially as one gets older and more forgetful!
It is always useful to have all your personal details available in your rucksack on an "In Case of Emergency" (ICE) document. Here is one you can use. ICE form. You can trim it for convenience and laminate it or keep it in a plastic bag.

We will add to this list over time and welcome any contributions from Club members, either links or documents.
