Len Foreman

I spent several days on my own with Len on the hill. Super company. He organised several meets and the trip myself and Leah took with him on a Scottish loch to see the Sea Eagles was special. A kind compassionate man and a great conversationalist.

Len completed all the Corbetts (222 of them). He completed his last one, Ben Vrackie, in 2016. Here is a poem from Leah which sums up his achievement!

A TRIBUTE TO LEN by Leah Maltby

There once was a grand chap called Len

Who set about climbing a Ben

With Jaffa his dog

He crossed heath and bog

And to stop, he did not know when!

The Munros and Corbetts did call

He decided to tackle them all

He now is a legend

From Cape Wrath to Bridgend

And Jaffa, a legend, though small.
